The hotel had indeed an absolutely perfect and nice location close enough to everything in the old town. Very welcoming staff that liked their guests. The deluxe king room we stayed in was delightful and neat.

We had a great city break in the heart of the old town. Being able to walk to all the sights was so convenient. The house itself was beautiful with its charming period features. We were impressed with the upkeep of the property, especially considering its age. The garden provided a lovely space for us to enjoy our evening meals. And let's not forget about the pillows - they were wonderfully comfy!

The security in our room was a bit concerning. We felt uneasy with only one lock on the door while someone could still enter through the hallway.

Trudi, the host, was friendly and welcoming, offering a tour of the historic home and even wellness services and therapy.

Getting to the location may be challenging for those with accessibility issues or walking challenges, as taxis can't reach directly and there is a significant incline up cobblestone roads from the main tram stops. The lack of air conditioning was an issue during the heat wave, although Trudi did her best to keep the rooms cool with fans.

I felt like part of the family within minutes of arriving at this charming, historic B&B. The old door handles and locks added a unique touch to the room. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the views were breathtaking. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a magical stay in the heart of the city.
